The new seismic ground motion parameter zonation map of China(GB18306-2015)was enforced formally in 2016.Requirements for seismic resistance have improved in some area.The existing RC structures need to be retrofitted for satisfying code.Compared with traditional reinforcement techniques,isolation techniques can minimize the impact of superstructure normal working.After the isolation layer has retrofitted,the superstructure need not to be retrofited.Isolation techniques can make the structure satisfy the current code and achieve the goal of environmental protection.The paper complete the entire process of design and construction in isolation techniques.Firstly,the paper makes the contrast of isolation techniques and traditional reinforcement techniques,then expounds isolation techniques principle and usable range.The seven-layers frame structure of the finite element is analysis using by YJK.Due to the difference of isolation level,establish three model.By analyzing the result,locate the isolation layer.Secondly checking the isolation layer under rare earthquake and calculating the superstructure.The under piers simplify as cantilever and using enlarged section to reinforce it.The paper introduce computing method of the under piers in detail.The new tape of support made up of steel tube and plate,and its height can be adjusted to isolation layer with different height.At last the paper introduces computing method support,construction process and the key point need to notice in detail.
