With the rapid infrastrature development in water conservancy,road,metro and railway projects in China,much higher standards are raised for construction efficiency,social benefits and econmic gains.Traditional construction methods are faced with problems like increasing operating cost and unreliability.Hard Rock Tunnel Boring Machine(TBM)is a key equipment for tunnel construction and therefore study on its key technologies are vital for promoting the rapid development of infrasture construction in in water conservancy,road,and railway projects.The working conditions of TBM are changeable and its structure is complicated.Moreover,the key technologies and major components depend much on imports.These facts constrain the development and TBM and the improvement of China's industrial level.The thrust and support systems of Hard Rock TBM play an important part in the machine performance.To improve TBM performance and optimize its structure,the present study focuses on the thrust and support systems of Hard Rock TBM.Major concerns of the present study are as following:(1)Structural design of TBM thrust and support systems.By calculating the thrust and support forces of the overall TBM,choices are made on the main beam structure of TBM,the gripping system,saddle,and key cylinders,etc;(2)Design of hydraulic systems pf TBM thrust and support systems.First,based on the requirement for machine design,calculate the specification for major components of hydraulic system.Then,explain the two control modes of thrust system when boring and changing steps.Finally,given the function need,design the schematic diagrams of hydraulic systems of TBM thrust and support systems.(3)Simulation analysis of hydraulic systems of TBM thrust and support systems.Simulation analysis for the hydraulic systems of TBM thrust and support systems is carried out with AMESim software.The result shows,by adjusting hydraulic circui.
