The problem of jumping at the bridgehead is one of the common problems in the construction and operation of highways. In the highway, the hidden danger of this problem is particularly serious. The problem of jumping at the bridgehead is a vicious cycle. The direct and indirect economic losses are very serious. Therefore, how to better solve the problem of jumping at the bridgehead has a great practical significance for the highway construction.Based on the relevant researches on the existing bridgehead jumps and the actual situation, this paper presents a low-carbon,economical,and convenient construction technology for the prevention and treatment of bridge hops in bridges and culverts. That is,a certain proportion of light-expanded granular materials are mixed in the backfill of bridges and culverts, and the reinforcement of the back-street-subgrade soil is reinforced by lightweight expanded particles to reduce the settlement difference between the backfill subgrade and the abutment to achieve prevention and control of the bridge jump. The main research content and main work of this article are as follows:(1)According to the relevant literature on reading reinforced inorganic materials, choose cement, pumice and light-sintered dolomite materials as the basic material for the preparation of lightweight expanded granules.Analyze and explain the mechanism and the the role of the roadbed.(2)The selected cement, pumice and light-sintered dolomite materials were studied for their expansibility and lightness through different mix ratios in the laboratory, and the expansion law was summed up,and the proposed mix ratio was proposed.(3)The performance of the lightweight intumescent granules was analyzed by the unconfined compressive strength test, the permeability test, the CBR test and the direct shear test of the soil mixed with the lightweight expanded granules by laboratory tests to analyze the soil effect.(4)Simulate the settlement of subgrade filled with lightweight swelling particles by using ANSYS finite element software.Feedback and inspection of the previous theoretical and experimental studies are provided to provide important parameters for the reasonable incorporation of light-weight expanded particles.
