Research On The Space Planning Of Mosuo Villages Along The Lugu Lake In Yunnan Section And The Planning Of Xiao Luoshui Village

With the acceleration of urbanization and the reduction of rural areas in China,rural development has drawn more and more attention.Traditional villages inherit the ethnic and regional culture,life wisdom,as well as historical memories.However,the over-exploitation of tourism has caused rural areas losing their unique characteristics,the loss of traditional culture,the conflict between development and environmental protection,and the weakening of traditional lifestyle and sense of identity.Yunnan province has many villages with regional and ethnic cultural characteristics,while the villages around Lugu lake are more distinctive,they are stimulated by external factors which caused spatial alienation.However,the current planning methods mostly lack of targeted control and guidance for the village original appearance,village characteristics,and the sustainable development of villages.Therefore,the general mode of rural construction couldn’t fully meet the needs of rural development and construction with special environmental background,ethnic culture and spatial characteristics.This thesis takes the Mosuo villages around the Lugu Lake in Yongning township of Yunnan Province as the research object.,adopts a combination of literature study and field investigation.Based on the study and evaluation of the spatial evolution rules,evolution factors and implementation effects of the lake-surrounding villages in the Yunnan section of the Lugu Lake,this thesis concludes the common characteristics of the village spacial evolution,put forward the problems between the development and protection of the traditional ethnic villages,and make a comprehensive evaluation.With the interpretation of the upper and the related planning,the policies and measures that are conductive to solving the current problems are summarized,which provides a planning inspiration for the villages around the lake.On the basis of summarizing the current problems of the protection and development of the lake-surrounding villages,this thesis affirms the important role of the traditional culture vitality and acculturation to the village space,and selects Xiaoluoshui village as the object of planning and design.Using the traditional space type under the influence of Muosuo culture as the basic model,and adopting the problem-oriented method,this thesis attempt to propose countermeasures and design control guidance in the aspects of the overall space,lakeside space,the courtyard space and the public space,while satisfying the needs of the development of the village economy and industry,the Mosuo tradition is continued and implemented at the spatial level to guide the future development and space construction of the Moshu lake-surrounding villages.
