The complex systems are found everywhere in our daily life.The research of complex system and complex science is concerned increasing.Agent-based modeling method could model entities in complex systems.Through modeling for single agent's state and interactions between agents,microcosmic behaviors can be organically combined with macroscopically emergences.Therefore that method is efficient and has great significance in theory and practice.In this paper,the complex system and the Agent-based theory are applied to the modeling of the power system and the modeling of the employees of the power enterprises.Definition,characters and research areas are introduced.Agent simulation platforms are presented.Advantages for combining complex system and agent-based theory is analysis.Three complex systems in reality,which are electric power system,safety management system and safety climate system,are presented and simulated.Complex system and agent-based theory in electric power system is introduced.Electric power system can be regard as a typical complex system in complicity,statistic characteristics.And application areas in electric power system are expatiated such as electric network model,power grid vulnerability and cascading failures.Agent-based theory in microgrid modeling is specially introduced.Then complex system and agent-based theory in power enterprise safety management system is introduced.Single employee's safety awareness is modeled using cell automata and local rules are set.According to the simulations in ideal condition,key factors in safety awareness emergence can be found.Combining with behavior-based safety theory,two management measures,which are education and punishment,are proposed.Next,complex system and agent-based theory in power enterprise safety climate system is introduced.Using network to model overall enterprise and using cell automata to model employee.Set interaction rules to get emergence under ideal conditions.Final emergence results relate to average neighbor numbers,number of initial safety state cell and safety perception radius in simulation.Data traversal is used to analysis those three parameters.Find the important factors and propose improvements.Finally,using questionnaires,effectiveness in power enterprises safety management system and safety climate system are verified.
