To realize the power balance control in source-gird-load interaction power systems, a power system multi-agent modeling, simulation and control scheme is proposed. The simulation platform composes by NETLOGO and MATLAB. In the adopted modeling, simulation and control scheme, the NETLOGO is adopted for smart power system component modeling and multi-agent power system control. The MATLAB is responsible for power system calculation, such as power flow calculation, marginal electricity price calculation, and optimal power flow calculation. The power system measurement data are transferred by the interface of NETLOGO and MATLAB. Using the interface of NETLOGO and MATLAB, power component agents and MATLAB can transfer system data. The power component agents transmit parameters to the MATLAB and calculate the marginal electricity price in MATLAB, then releasing new data to the power component agents. The power component agents response to the information considering own objection. Simulation results show that the proposed modeling, simulation and control scheme based on NETLOGO and MATLAB has the following characteristics: efficient visual effects, fast computation, easy to expand, and the ability to satisfy the demand of power balance control in source-gird-load interaction power systems.
