With the rapid development of the global economy and culture,the outbreak of information has brought convenience to people's lives as well as a lot of problems.A large amount of information will not only add to the aesthetic fatigue,but also make it difficult for people to catch useful information in a relatively short time.A series of contradictions exist in the design field,such as the ways and means of information transmission,the feelings and efficiency of audience cognition.Therefore,how to handle the sense of space information,and to efficiently extract valuable information in the process of information transmission,is particularly important for the designers of the present.The concept of metaphor design can provide a certain degree of exploration and solution to this problem.This article chooses the metaphor design in spatial information transmission as the breakthrough point,taking the design of the distributed urban community cultural space as an example.On the basis of excavating the lack of community culture space and the needs of the audience,this paper tries to use the basic principles of metaphor design,and tries to find out the design methods to meet the function,experience,emotion and cultural needs of community residents by the design and molding of different information media.At the same time,we should take into account the ecological balance of urban communities,so as to achieve the purpose of combining design with humanistic care,serving for human beings and serving the human society.
