Museum cultural and creative product design industry is facing a new challenge plus opportunity,due to the anticipation and demand by public audience.Our nation has committed to fully supporting the Museum cultural and creative product development.Certainly the result will overwhelm our expectation.This essay aims to point out the common problem on museum cultural and creative product and its importance.Though the studies on the function of museum,current museum cultural and creative product design development status,and summarized the history of museum culture combined with creative industry.Also,its defined the concept of museum cultural and creative product,then classification the products by type,plus analysis and characteristic on the products.Secondly,the essay includes analytical case studies which focused on analysis the main method and design manner of museum cultural and creative product development.In addiction to custom a design strategy for the products.Combined the case studies of The Palace Museum,National Palace Museum,Suzhou Museum and National Museum of China,to establishing a suitable structure for the product design system.Last,the author established a product design series of product designs of China National Tea Museum,to support the argument.The design series shows the importance and reference value on museum cultural and creative product design.
