Marine science is developing at a high level,and the demand for marine explorationequipment is increasing year by year.Equipment types and detection methods also show high-speed development trend of embedded,diversified,multi-mode and miniaturization.Side scan sonar is one of the most widely used devices,and the weight,installation dimension and data storage and reading way in the design and use of equipment are the key factors to restrict the flexibility of the side scan sonar.The traditional towed side scan sonar has been unable to meet the needs of today's marine exploration equipment.In this paper,the hardware design and implementation of embedded side scan sonar modularization is the main research content.The first choice of this paper is a brief overview of the technical development,application background and significance of the domestic scavenging sonar.The design indexes are determined according to the use demand of side scan sonar.Then,the design theory analysis,including: according to the key parameters of design index on the side scan sonar sidescan sonar imaging principle and frequency characteristics of the transducer and the directivity characteristics,relationship characteristics,bottom back scattering intensity,signal transmission loss characteristics of resolution and signal pulse width and transmitting source level and power characteristics of acoustic emission.The theoretical calculation parameters of the hardware platform are also given.According to the theoretical calculation parameters,two parts of analog circuit and digital circuit are designed and realized.The analog circuit realizes the performance index of the transmitter and receiver circuit,and the function of the circuit is debugged and tested.The transmitter includes: transmitting signal driving circuit,power amplifying circuit,transformer parameter design,transducer matching circuit and transmitting energy storage circuit.The receiver includes: differential signal input circuit,fixed gain compensation,TGC(Time Gain Control)gain compensation control,MGC(Manual Gain Control)gain compensation control,signal frequency spectrum shift,signal frequency selective filtering and other signal conditioning circuits.The digital part realizes the functions of echo signal processing,logic signal control,data processing and transmission and verification.The data acquisition and preprocessing of the left and right channel echo signals,sensor data acquisition and analysis,logic control of the hardware platform and high-speed data transmission are completed.By testing the performance of the hardware platform of each module,verify the correctness of the overall design theory;according to the different stages of testing,the realization of the hardware platform of embedded,modular,data acquisition,data storage,data transmission and flexible optional configuration,and verify the stability of embedded modular side scan sonar the hardware platform of the dual band,good imaging effect.
