With the continuous development of economy,more and more large-span hyperbolic roof structures come into people's life.Characterized by lightweighted,flexibility,and low damped,large-span hyperbolic roof structures are highly wind sensitive.Due to the complicated roof shapes,when the air flows across the roof surface,the complicated high Reynolds number flow phenomenon,such as air separation,reattachment,etc,will occur,resulting in a complex wind pressure distribution on the roof,whose main cause is turbulence.It is difficult to determine the wind pressure coefficients of such roof structures based on current loading codes.Thus,based on computational fluid dynamics,study is carried out on wind pressure distribution characteristics of large-span hyperbolic roof structure by employing typical trubulence models in the work here,aiming to provide helpful advice to wind resisting design of such hyperbolic roof structures.The main contents are as follows:1?Using different turbulence models,wind pressure characteristics on long-span hyperbolic roof with projection shape of square,rectangle,round and oval are studied,anzlyzed and compared with with the experimental data.Wind pressure distribution of different typical hyperbolic roof structure are obtained.The results show that different turbulence models have distinctions on computing performance for different hyperbolic roof structures.By analyzing the data,the most appropriate turbulence model is determined for each projection shape,and the most unfavorable projection shape for long-span hyperbolic roof structure is chosen as well.2?According to the charactreistics of hyperbolic roofs,some possible important influential parameters for the wind pressure distribution characteristics,such as external flow field parameters and geometrical parameters of roofs.Effects of different parameters on wind pressure distribution on different hyperbolic roofs are obtained.Based on the above results,partitioned wind pressure coefficient within common heights for each projection shape are advised,providing a theoretical basis and engineering reference for further accurate wind resistance design of similar structures.
