Fast growth in recent years,the road traffic demand,the increasing of the traffic incident lead to a significant reduce highway running ability and service quality,the traffic bottleneck or traffic congestion often occurs during peak hours,sections of the road congestion and even affect the overall efficiency of the road network traffic state.Therefore,after the road traffic incident lead to vehicle queue,forecast the traffic parameters,the analysis and research the traffic parameters and properties such as number of lanes,events dealing with the relationship between efficiency and so on,is the transportation system in the hot spot of research in recent years.In order to quantitatively calculate the queuing parameters after a traffic accident,this paper first studies and analyzes the current methods of estimating and predicting queuing parameters,and studies the technology of traffic flow forecast and traffic incident detection,and proposes a new traffic incident The method of calculating the queuing parameters and the experiment proved the effectiveness of the method.The main research work is as follows:(1)describe the development of traffic flow after the traffic incident,and divide the traffic incident into three stages,including the event stage,event processing stage and event recovery stage.The evolution process of traffic flow during the three-phase process of event development is analyzed in detail to find out the key factors that affect traffic flow,In addition to the seriousness of the event itself,the timing of the event is the second factor that determines the queue of vehicles in the event bottleneck..(2)in traffic incident occurs,based on the analysis of characteristics of traffic flow,the wave velocity formula based on the law of conservation of traffic and transportation,traffic congestion is deduced when the number of queuing vehicles dynamic calculation formula,by gathering wave modeling and principle of evanescent wave propagation and integral calculus method of total vehicle queue delay dynamic calculation model.At the same time,the paper analyses the relationship between the two modules,which is the influence,coupling and concatenation.(3)by the method of simplifying assumptions for the development of the traffic incident happened without intervention analysis under the condition of traffic flow,the influence of the development of the analysis under the condition of different events,and the analysis of the classical simple traffic model.This article is based on the actual situation of changsha city of hunan province road traffic,through the acquisition of changsha by tianxin furong south road and leopard pond road,qiao two garden road intersection of experiment data,using the application example and VIS SIM simulation software to validate the effectiveness of the algorithm in this paper,the results show that the number of queuing vehicles growth a piecewise linear variation over incident duration,and all of total vehicle queue delay with the increase of traffic event handling time a quadratic square change.This model and conclusion can be used as the theoretical basis for the rational rescue measures after the incident.
