As the electrical equipment of the national power system,the power transformer is widely used in the national economy construction and plays a key role in connecting the power grid and power transmission and distribution.The air-cooling control system is a very important part of power transformer.For the monitoring of traditional transformer air cooling control system,there are such problems as low reliability,complex control circuit,simple fan protection form,large control error,and unable to communicate remotely.Once the internal temperature of the transformer is too high,it has a great influence on the insulation performance of the transformer,reducing the safe operation cycle of the transformer and even make a serious accident.Therefore,real-time monitoring of the internal temperature of the transformer,and start and stop intelligent cooling control system,not only comprehensive monitoring of transformer temperature on time,effectively control the temperature of the transformer operation,but also help the staff to understand the operating conditions of power transformer,ensure a more safe and reliable operation of the transformer.The monitoring principles and control methods in the field of transformer online monitoring are investigated at home and abroad,and the principle and application status of the air-cooling control technology of the transformer are studied.Aiming at the problems existing in the control of the cooling fan,such as the traditional transformer air-cooling control system,the simple protection method of the cooling fan,the high fan failure rate,the large maintenance workload and the inability to remotely monitor and control,a new microcontroller LPC1768 Core,combined with advanced computer management technology and on-line control technology transformer online monitoring intelligent control system is designed.The real-time data acquisition and monitoring of transformer oil surface temperature,winding temperature,load current,ambient temperature and on load tap changer are included in the design.Through control strategy,the number and operation time of fans can be started and stopped.It is mainly to judge the temperature of the extremely cold state by increasing the temperature monitoring of the external environment.When the external environment temperature is extremely cold,the transformer temperature can be reduced to the normal range by nature,so it is no need to start and control the fan unit.The monitoring data can be sent to the background server through the live line,the operation state of the transformer can be seen by the workers through background software.Finally,the platform is built to verify the effectiveness of the design.The results show that the transformer temperature parameters can be monitored.Accurately and the fans are controlled well under the control strategy.
