In the field of precise measurement like atom interferometer and atom gyroscopes,the basic and the most important is to achieve cold atoms,and when it comes to continuous and repetitive measurement,cold atoms need to be achieved faster.To load the cold atoms faster,we need atom beam which is with high flux and low velocity.This thesis build up a system based on 2D Magneto Optical Trap(2D-MOT)theory to meet the requirement in the cold atom experiment.This thesis mainly introduces the key technologies of cold beam experiment based on 2D-MOT.We regulates the position of the atoms in the 2D-MOT by adjusting the current independently of the coil,make sure the atoms go right through the exit hole.And with 50mw power and 20MHz red detuning from resonance for the cooling beam and 2.5mw power and 30MHz red detuning from resonance for the push beam,we achieve the atom beam.In the detect area we build up a 3D-MOT with 10mw power and 20MHz red detuning from resonance for each laser.To avoid the influence of push beam,we intentionally raise the center of 3D-MOT by 3mm,and in the end we achieved 87Rb atom beam with 2.84×10~9 atoms/s loading rate.
