With the development of urbanization and the increase of the impermeable areas,the urban hydrology environment has changed,resulting in all sorts of problems such as water logging and drought.The existing municipal pipe can no longer cope with the increasingly serious problems of water logging and rainwater pollution.Based on the theory of sponge city construction,therefore,this paper aims to investigate the landscape approach mode to fill the gaps of municipal engineering,so as to alleviate the water logging and rainwater pollution.In this paper,the author firstly analyzes and studies the relevant theories of sponge city construction,which provides a theoretical basis for investigating the landscape approach mode.Then GIS technology is used to analyze the topography,slope,water flow direction and catchment method of the Hefei old districts.Based on the water planning texts and the relevant theories of basins in the study area,the rivers in the old districts of Hefei is divided into four sub-basins and several micro-basins,therefore,three kinds of regulation and storage mode are obtained.Then,the three modes are applied to the study area for reconstruction.Finally,SWMM model is used to verify the effects of the modes.The result shows that this mode has a significant effect on the alleviation of water logging and the reduction of runoff coefficient in Heifei old districts.
