Railway wagon's security of operation is the important premise for railway developing to the goal of overloading and high speed in our country.The prolapse problem of the sealed cowling of its 352226X2-2RZ type rolling bearing has become the important reason which causes the increasement of wagon's hot shaft failures in the process of the railway goods transportation.The research of bearing sealed cowling's press-assembly performance and process really needs to be done right now.This paper is based on the mechanism of friction to heat.Finite element analysis software ABAQUS is used to establish thermal-mechanical coupling analysis model for the press-assembly process of sealed cowling of 352226X2-2RZ type rolling bearing.The situation changes of temperature field,stress and strain during press-assembly process are obtained.And from the aspects of sealed cowling's mechanical performance parameters(elastic modulus),thermal analysis parameters(experimental initial temperature,specific heat and thermal expansion coefficient)and press-assembly process parameter(press-assembly speed)to analyze,the influence laws of various parameters on temperature field,stress,strain and press-assembly performance are obtained;Furtherly,from the aspect of press-assembly process parameters(press-assembly speed and friction coefficient)to analyze,the change curves of press-assembly force which is needed by the press-assembly of bearing's sealed cowling is obtained and analyzed contrastively.The study results confirm that:(1)the result of thermal-mechanical coupling analysis is much more in line with the actual working conditins than the result of elastic-palstic analysis,and can provide better ideas for solving the proplaps problem of sealed cowling;(2)increasing elastic modulus and press-assembly speed or decreasing specific heat can cause the maximum temperature,contact stress,equivalent stress and plastic strain increase,and also cause the waving number and degree of relevant stress and strain changing curves increase;(3)in the case of other parameters remaining constant,there is a little influence on the sealed cowling's press-assembly performance when the experimental initial temperature and thermal expansion coefficient are changed respectively;(4)increasing the press-assembly speed and friction coefficient can cause the press-assembly force which is needed by sealed cowling's press-assembly process increase;(5)during the process of sealed cowling,the press-assembly speed shall not exceed 0.26 m/s and the friction coefficient shall be less than 0.25.The study result of this paper lays a theoretical foundation for a more in-depth study of sealed cowling's press-assembly process,and also provides a certain idea for solving the hot shaft phenomenon which appears in the process of railway wagon transportation.
