The healthy and sustainable development of power industry is crucial to the lifeline of national economy.As value maximization rises to the overall management theory of companies,the value chain management is deep in heart,and is on the height of company strategy.Genetic algorithm has matured over the decades and has been widely applied in many industries and fields,gaining remarkable achievements.Its strong expansibility and strong iteration strength make it extremely suitable for complex electric power industry.Therefore,based on the genetic algorithm,the study of value chain management can favor and maximize the benefits of power enterprises.Also,the optimization of the value chain is consistent with the view of the scientific developing.This article investigated the value chain optimization of thermal power enterprises based on genetic algorithm.Case study of a coal-fired power plant was carried out.Based on the analysis of the current situation of value chain control of thermal power enterprises,the value chain optimization model of thermal power plant was established based on genetic algorithm,with analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy evaluation method.A multi-objective optimization genetic algorithm was proposed,the whole value chain of the complex thermal power enterprises was analyzed creatively.A model of value chain each link in it was constructed,and the mathematical model of value chain optimization of the thermal power enterprise was concluded with practical application value.Combining genetic algorithm with value chain analysis,it is possible to quantitatively describe the process of cost optimization.At the same time,for coal,s important position in the cost control of the power generation,a complete value chain based on coal was proposed,combining genetic algorithm,analyzed each link,and the value chain of coal was optimized and controlled,which provides an important instruction for the optimization of coal value chain of thermal power enterprises.Using genetic algorithm to optimize the process of the value chain process,a value chain optimization model based on genetic algorithm was proposed.Based on the actual application of the system classification of the drivers in the value chain,the agent classification was carried out,according to the weight of different drivers in the cost calculation.The efficiency of the calculation and the accuracy of the solution were guaranteed,and local optimal solutions were also prevented by algorithm selecting global optimal solutions.The normalized results of the model were calculated and the results were explained in the value chain optimization of thermal power enterprises.The improvement direction of the parameters of the value chain of thermal power enterprises and coal were discussed.In the end,the paper gives the general suggestions for optimizing the value chain of thermal power enterprises and coal.In combination with the experience of "catching the key points" in the production practice,the effect of the incremental form of the target function was compared to the significant degree of the improvement direction.The paper gives the direction of priority improvement and puts forward the strategy of realizing enterprise value increment,which proves the method feasible and effective.Such strategies are meaningful for domestic power plants to upgrade value management and control standards.
