| In 1960s,western countries generally experienced a series of urban shrinking problems after post-industrial transition and population loss.With the economic globalization and the industrial recession triggered by the global financial crisis,China’s high economic growth has entered a relatively stable adjustment process.At the same time,the early arrival of the Lewis inflection point in China’s labor force,the polarization tendency in the process of urbanization and the upgrading of industrial structure are lagging behind.Factors such as this made everyone start to pay attention to the phenomenon of local shrinkage in the rapid urbanization development,especially for resource-based cities and traditional heavy industrial bases.With the loss of population,the shrinking of urban center,the rising unemployment rate,and the lack of economic motivation have become increasingly serious.Therefore,it is necessary to accurately grasp the dynamic contraction pattern of regional cities and identify the dynamic distribution of shrinking cities in a long time series.It is beneficial to grasp the development trend of regional cities scientifically and lay a foundation for the study of the historical and practical problems such as resource-based cities,urban-rural dual structure,social and economic transformation,population aging and other historical and practical problems.Based on the theories of the urban development stage and the theory of urban spatial structure and so on,this paper based on the DMSP/OLS nighttime lighting data and statistical data,carried out the research on the spatial dynamic distribution of urban contraction pattern evolution and contraction in Northeast China.The main contents include:Chapterl:The introduction part discusses the domestic and foreign backgrounds and research significance of shrinking cities in Northeast China.combing and summarizing the related research on the shrinking cities and DMSP/OLS nighttime lighting data,and confirming the research content,research target and technical route of this paper.Chapter2:Explains and reasonably defines the connotation of urban shrinkage,shrinking city and smart shrinkage,and sorts out relevant theoretical foundations,which lays a foundation for subsequent analysis and research.Chapter 3:Dynamic recognition of shrinking cities in Northeast China.Introduce the study area and data sources,and preprocess the original data,including updating the boundary of the administrative division,determining the threshold value of the built-up area in the nighttime lighting data,and extracting the urban spatial scope of the Northeast from 1992 to 2013 according to the threshold.Chapter4:analyzes the shrinkage pattern and evolution of urban space in Northeast China.From the four aspects of urban space,the first city,the form and agglomeration of the city,the changes of the 10 landscape indices in the northeast region and the provinces are analyzed.Chapter 5:dynamic identification of Shrinking Cities in Northeast China.The shrinkage-light index model is constructed to determine and identify shrinking cities in the northeastern region from 1992 to 2013.The shrinkage index of each shrinking city is calculated by entropy method,and the shrinkage degree of each shrinking city is divided according to the shrinkage index.Chapter 6:Conclusions and prospects,mainly summarizes the conclusions of this article,summarizes and forecasts the shortcomings of the article. |
