Steel housing industrialization has been the focus of attention in recent years,in the implementation of construction efficiency is particularly important. At present, the main forms of joints used in steel structure include: joints with inner diaphragms, joints with through diaphragms and joints with outer diaphragms, which are more complicated in terms of production technology and efficiency. On the basis of grasping and referring to the related research results and combining with the problems existing in the actual production, the joint connecting H-beam and reinforced square tubular column was proposed in this dissertation.Through quasi-static test and finite element analysis, the seismic behavior and mechanics of the column-reinforced joints were studied. The main research was summarized in detail as follows:9 specimens of the joint connecting H-beam and reinforced square tubular column were tested under quasi-static loading. The varying parameters of the specimens considered include axial compression ratio, column plate thickness, column section size and structural stiffness.By observing the test phenomenon of the joint specimen in the experiment and making a record, the failure mode was analyzed.Based on the hysteresis curve, the skeleton curve, the stiffness degeneration curve and the shear angle curve in the panel zone, the influence of the varying parameters considered in the test on the seismic performance(bearing capacity, ductility, stiffness and energy dissipation capacity,et al.)of the column-reinforced joints was analyzed. The data obtained from the strain gages arranged in the panel zone were analyzed to obtain the force mechanism of the panel zone and verify the feasibility of the height of the column reinforcement area.According to the analysis of the force mechanics and other results, the bearing capacity of the beam-column connection was theoretically deduced. In the analysis of bearing capacity of column plate, two forms of column plate thickening and stiffening were respectively considered.By using plastic hinge theory and virtual work principle, the formulas of local bearing capacity of column plate were obtained, and the calculation results obtained by using the theoretical formula were compared with the test results. The finite element model of two standard joints was established by finite element software ABAQUS.The experimental phenomena, hysteresis curves, skeleton curves and bearing capacity calculated by finite element method were compared with the test results to verify its accuracy.Based on the finite element model, parametric analysis was performed to obtain the effect of the variables on the bearing capacity of the joint.
