In recent years,as the level of information science and technology continues to improve,container terminals have also been gradually developed toward the automated terminals.The development of automated terminals has seen less and less need for the on-site operators.Automated terminals mainly use information technology and intelligent technology to handle the loading and unloading of goods.The container handling business has gradually developed into a seamless connection between the ship and Hong Kong side using the handset.Due to the large number of different types of groceries and different specifications,in terms of groceries and wharves,the traditional labor-intensive operation mode is still adopted.In the process of loading and unloading of goods,a large amount of manpower and machinery are still required,and the process of picking up groceries Tedium has led to a serious impact on the efficiency of the handling of groceries,which may lead to the waste of human resources and time.For this reason,how to improve the efficiency of cargo handling for groceries is the primary concern of many groceries terminals.The efficiency of operations directly affects the level of efficiency of the enterprises.The efficiency of operations directly affects the operational workload of groceries terminals.For the enterprises themselves,Management must pay attention to management efficiency;to improve the management efficiency should be placed in the first place.Based on the diagnosis of the problem,this article uses the DEA model,selects the basic data of 10 tally companies from 2014 to 2016,and analyzes the work efficiency of WL Company by using DEA model.The factors that affect the efficiency of the cargo handling at the general cargo terminal and finally put forward the measures to improve the operating efficiency of the cargo handling on the external cargo of general cargo.
