For the acceleration of the construction of industrial new town in Y City,the increase of population and the establishment of supporting service facilities,the producing and living water demands are rising rapidly.The water quality of the current water treatment plant in the industrial new town is not stable because of the water source problem.It is difficult to meet the demand of water quality and quantity.At peak hours of water use,current water treatment plants are in a state of full and even overloaded operation.With the acceleration of the construction in new industrial towns,the problem of water shortage is becoming increasingly serious.If we did not solve the problem of water supply as soon as possible,the construction and development of industrial new towns would be severely restricted by lack of water.Through the investigation and analysis,we can summarize the water problem in Y city into two aspects,One is the quality issue:the increase of industrial wastewater,sewage and pesticide and chemical fertilizer has triggered that pollutants in drinking and daily-use water seriously exceed the standard.The other is the quantity problem:Y city water only originate from a single water source river,and the seasonal shortage of water is not suitable for building the new plant.This Paper aims to have a overall plan of water in the short and long run and carry on the analysis of water demand of industrial city through the example of Y city.The water supply is discussed,to determine the water supply project of E reservoir and F reservoir.A water supply reservoir project is mainly discussed about E.The recent engineering water quantity is5×10~4m~3/d,and the long-term water quantity is 8×10~4m~3/d.The water supply of the F reservoir is 2×10~4m~3/d.Through the technical and economic analysis of various special treatment,pretreatment,conventional treatment and advanced treatment process,according to the design of water source area,which belongs to low temperature and low turbidity water,hence the need for special treatment for low temperature and low turbidity water.In this paper,the effect of coagulant flocculation by adding polymeric coagulants and micro sand is recommended by the proposal for special treatment,and ozone preoxidation technology should be used for pretreatment.The conventional treatment by flocculating chamber plate sedimentation tank and water tank composite pool,V type filter.Deep treatment of post ozone activated carbon technology.The construction of the new plant is divided into two phases,the first and two stages of construction are 5×10~4m~3/d.The process scheme is designed and studied.After design and calculation,the main design parameters of each structure are determined,and the engineering design is completed.After the completion of the project,it will greatly improve the quality of life of the people,solve the problem of safe drinking water for urban residents,and promote unified management of water resources,so as to provide favorable support for further development of Y city.
