In In today's world,the growing resource consumption has become a serious issue and the problem of energy shortage has become an indisputable fact during the process of development.As the world's largest energy consumer,China's energy demand and energy structure are radically imbalanced,which has greatly constrained the speed and progress of a sustainable development in China.Nuclear power is an efficient,clean and economical new energy source,which has strong development potential and prospects.The development of China's nuclear power industry is in an important strategic period.The “One Belt and One Road” strategy has led China's nuclear power companies to “go global” and promoted “Made in China” to “Created in China.”Based on the analysis of domestic and overseas researches on innovation efficiency,this thesis first introduces the basic principles of the main models in data envelopment analysis,which lays a theoretical foundation for empirical analysis of the following text.Secondly,the author will take 35 listed companies in China's nuclear power industry as the research object and the innovation efficiency is decomposed into R&D efficiency indicators and market efficiency indicators.The DEA-Malmquist productivity index model is used to empirically analyze the innovation efficiency from the static,dynamic and industrial chain perspectives.The results show that from the perspective of the overall average,the innovation efficiency of the nuclear power industry is in a downward trend,and only three listed companies' R&D efficiency and market efficiency are all greater than one;from the dynamic point of view,only in 2014-2015 the R&D efficiency index is greater than one.The main reason for the poor performance of overall innovation efficiency is the significant drop in R&D efficiency during 2015-2016.From the perspective of the industry chain,companies with relatively better innovation efficiency are mainly in the field of core nuclear power manufactural equipment and nuclear power auxiliary equipment manufactural industries,while the innovation efficiency of listed companies which focus on the core nuclear power manufactural equipment and nuclear power auxiliary manufactural equipment industry are polarized in the R&D phase and the market phase.Then,based on previous researches and combined with the actual situation of China's nuclear power industry,author establishes the Tobit model of the innovation efficiency of China's nuclear power listed companies to study the factors that affect the efficiency of nuclear power innovation in China.The results show that in the R & D stage,the R & D input and controlling nature have a significant positive effect on the innovation efficiency of the nuclear power industry.While in the market stage,R & D investment and fiscal redundancy have a significant negative impact on innovation efficiency.Finally,based on analysis and research on the innovation efficiency and its influencing factors of the nuclear power industry,it is believed that it is necessary to improve the innovation efficiency of China's nuclear power industry listed companies,to promote the independent innovation of nuclear power companies,and to accelerate the pace of “going out”.Companies should not only optimize the allocation of industrial resource,create its core competitiveness,and urge nuclear power companies to absorb high-level talent to improve the level of research and development management.Besides,increased investment in scientific research is an important guarantee to improve the efficiency of industrial innovation.
