In the wind power generation system,the combined transformer for wind power generation play an important role in the power transmission.The power generated by the wind turbine contains great harmonic waves because the wind farms are usually located in the mountain,grassland,coastal areas and other areas with the inconvenient traffic.The performance,dynamic stability and thermal stability of the electric and magnetic fields of the combined transformer for wind power generation is very important to the safe and stable operation of the wind power system.At the same time,the wind farms put forward higher requirements for the combined transformer for wind turbine applications,such as smaller in size,lighter in weight and lower in cost.Therefore,the author makes the analysis,research,and optimization of the electrostatic field of the main insulation structure of the combined transformer for wind power generation with reducing its main insulation distance as the direction,in order to make its main insulation structure smaller in size,lighter in weight and lower in cost under the premise of the safe and reliable operation.The main research works are as follows:(1)review and understand the domestic and foreign relevant literature about the combined transformer for wind power generation and the electromagnetic field;analyze and study the main insulation structure of the 1600 kVA and 35 kV combined transformer for wind power generation;establish the calculation model by the universal electric field analysis software ElecNet and make the finite element calculation to obtain the electric field intensity distribution of the model;and put forward the preliminary reliability analysis.(2)from the view of engineering application,put forward several reduced main insulation distance structure analysis software ElecNet to establish the calculation model of the electric field,the finite element calculation,electric field strength distribution of the model,find the main insulation structure optimization,and combined with the tooling equipment and technology level,feasibility analysis,can be obtained for the main insulation structure of mass production.(3)make the coil model according to the optimal main insulation structure;carry out the power-frequency voltage test and verify whether the optimal structure obtained by the theoretical calculation can meet the safe and reliable operation of the transformer for wind power generation;manufacture the prototype of the combined transformers for wind turbine applications according to the verified main insulation structure,and carry out the lightning impulse test and the power-frequency withstand voltage test.Finally,it concludes that the main insulation structure obtained by optimizing the main insulation can not only guarantee the safe and reliable operation,but also reduce the cost and improve the economic benefits of the combined transformer for wind power generation.
