As the environmental and resouce issues are increasingly prominent within the world,many countries pay more and more attention to the development of pure electric vehicles.In the new energy automobile industry technology development three vertical and three horizontal strategies,China has established the development of EV as an important task during the 10 th five year plan.In recent years,China has become the largest country in the electric vehicle production and sale in the world.However,as all kinds of cars are released at the same time,more and more production expose the quality problems,which led to users increasingly concerned about the safety of EV.In this respect,the ISO 26262 functional safety standards provide guidance.In this paper,a pure electric vehicle controller is developed.Based on the research from home and abroad,this paper focused on the studying of hardware for the vehicle controller,and developed dual MCU hardware architecture of VCU.At the same time,based on the vehicle control strategy and vehicle controller software,LABCAR hardware in the loop system is used to carry out HIL test for the VCU,and its function safety and reliability is verified.The following aspects are studied in this paper:(1)Firstly,the research background and significance of ISO 26262 functional safety standard are introduced.Then the key concepts of ISO 26262 are analyzed and interpreted.Finally,the domestic and overseas research status of functional safety standards is analyzed and summarized.It is still a long way to go before our country realizes the curve overtaking in the new energy automobile sector.(2)The function safety of the pure electric vehicle controller is analyzed.On this basis,the hardware architecture and functional module circuit of vehicle controller,which meet functional safety objectives,are designed.Sothat the application layer control strategies can be implemented on hardware.(3)The EV vehicle control strategies are developed,including input signal acquisition and diagnosis,failure mode management,main and auxiliary MCU cooperative control strategy,vehicle operation mode management,up and down electrical management,vehicle torque demand management strategy and the attachment control.(4)The vehicle control strategies are simulated and verified under given certain input conditions.(5)The vehicle controller software is developed,including vehicle controller softwarearchitecture and software units.(6)The vehicle controller accelerator pedal sensor signal failure and brake pedal sensor failure are setten in ES4440 fault injection unit of LABCAR hardware in loop system.The function safety of the vehicle controller unit is verified by HIL simulation test.
