The social and economic development needs the continuous change and development of foundation pit engineering.However,there are still many shortcomings in the practical foundation pit engineering,such as the imperfect foundation pit support theory,and the design personnel of the foundation pit depend on their own experience to make the safety of the foundation pit support not easy to be guaranteed.This paper studies the current situation at home and abroad,and combines the 3D geological information model with traditional design for foundation pit support calculation,and compares it with the traditional design results.In order to explore the significance of 3D geological information model to the design of foundation pit.This article selects ITASCAD to build model and supporting calculation by using Lizheng.The results of the two schemes are compared with the engineering monitoring data.The results of the study are as follows:(1)Firstly,several common 3D geological model modeling theories are selected for comparison and analysis,and the theoretical algorithms which are more consistent with the geological conditions are selected,and the software of the algorithm is selected for the model analysis.The article finally chooses ITASCAD software,because it uses the discrete smooth interpolation method(DSI algorithm),it can accurately approximate the real geological strata.(2)ITASCAD survey and design method is compared with the traditional survey and design method.For example,there are many problems in the traditional way of investigation and design because of the large amount of work and the contradiction between the parameters of exploration and design in a variety of ways,due to the use of a single method of parameter value.The 3D geological model can realize convenient equipment construction,multiple management and 3D visualization.It is effective to make up for the shortcomings of the traditional survey and design.(3)Taking Shantou project as a case,the traditional survey design and 3D geological model investigation and design are compared and analyzed.The five aspects of soil parameters,slope settlement,structural internal force,mapping effect and working process are compared and analyzed.It is proved that the application of 3D geological model to the stage of investigation and design can effectively improve the shortage of traditional survey and design.3D geological model can effectively improve the efficiency of work,and the analysis of model data makes the survey design more convincing.
