The steel plate shear wall structure with stanchions is a new lateral load resisting system with steel plates and stanchions on the basis of moment resisting frame.The stanchions can be pinned or rigidly connected with the frame beam.The steel plate is used as the main energy dissipation component,and it can enter into yield before the frame under the earthquake.and protect the structure of the main body.Due to its structural characteristics,steel walls with stanchion are suitable for seismic strengthening of frame buildings.In this paper,finite element simulation analysis method is used to study the seismic performance of the steel plate shear wall structure with stanchion.Firstly,a six-story steel plate shear wall model with stanchions and frame beam rigidly and pinned connected is established,the position of the embedded steel plate and stanchions was changed for push-over analysis and compared with the moment resisting frame.A PKPM software was used to analyze an original 8-story steel frame structure that is now covered with two stories.The results show that the maximum interlayer displacement angle does not meet the specification requirements.Therefore,it is reinforced with a steel plate shear wall and stanchions,8-degree seismic response spectra analysis and time-history analysis under frequently earthquake,fortification earthquake and rarely earthquake are carried out,the deformation of structure,the distribution of base shear force and the failure mechanism are investigated.And compared with the original frame structure,explore its reinforcement effect.The results show that the Steel Plate Shear Wall Structure with Stanchion has obvious yield timing.Firstly,the shear wall yield,and then the frame beam,and finally the bottom of frame column.Comparing the stanchions rigid with the frame beams,the use of the stanchions hinged with the frame beams has less influence on the frame beams of the original structure.And taking into account the post-earthquake repair or replacement of steel plates,the use of more simple hinged stanchions is more suitable for the reinforcement of the frame structure.The results of the time-history analysis show that the structural deformation can be decreased remarkably by setting the shear wall and stanchion.Under fortification earthquake,the shear walls enter into the yielding and frame maintains elastic.Under rarely earthquake,the shear wall sand frame beams and the bottom of column enter into plastic.The frame play the role of the second line of anti-seismic to avoid structural collapse,satisfy the structural seismic design performance objectives.
