The power quality comprehensive compensator is an important guarantee of the power quality in distribution network,which can compensate for two or more than two kinds of power quality.There are three types of power quality comprehensive compensators applied in distribution network,including passive,active and hybrid types.From an economic point of view,the optimum economy allocation and operating method of the power quality comprehensive compensators in distribution network is deeply studied in this paper.First of all,through the measured data analysis in distribution network,the characteristics of power quality in typical distribution network are studied and summarized.The comprehensive power quality problems of reactive power surplus,harmonic pollution and three-phase imbalance are analyzed,and the complex operation conditions of power quality comprehensive compensators is given.Secondly,according to the different compensation effects for three types of passive,active and hybrid compensators under complex conditions,the economic evaluation of three kinds of compensators is carried out using the net present value method.The net present value expressions of the three compensators are derived,and the net present value changed areas with the change of harmonic,unbalanced current and reactive power under complex conditions are obtained,and the optimum economy allocation method of the power quality comprehensive compensators in distribution network is given.Finally,the optimum economy operating method of the comprehensive compensator is put forward,and verified by simulation.Combined with the proposed optimum economy allocation method,the optimum economy allocation and operating method of the power quality comprehensive compensators in distribution network is finally obtained.
