The converter valve is an important part of the HVDC transmission system.When it is in operation,the converter valve generates extensive heat.If the temperature is too high,components in the valve body may easily be damaged.Therefore,the cooling system is required to cool the system to protect the reliable operation of the commutation valve,so the reliability of the water cooling system will directly affect the operational reliability of the valve,thus affecting the safety and stability of the entire DC system.This paper aims at ensuring the reliability of the water cooling system by studying the reliability of the key components in the water cooling system of the converter valve so as to ensure the reliability of the overall operation of the converter valve.The main research method is to test the accelerated life of PVDF tube with O-ring in the converter valve.In this paper,the test method of constant stress is selected.The principle is the equivalent temperature test principle.The permanent deformation rate is used as the test indicator.Giving 70 ?,85 ?,100 ?,125 ? four sets of temperature conditions,using special fixture,exerting a certain pressure on the O-ring to simulate the actual conditions and before the test running ANSYS simulation.O-ring seal analysis is to determine the O-ring being in a normal state on current test conditions,to ensure the rationality of test results.By the end of the experiment,through Arrhenius equation,using mathematical modal for life assessment to obtain the O-ring life assessment model in this test,and finally determine its life expectancy at different temperatures.In this paper,a new accelerated life test method of O-ring was proposed by simulation,experiment and mathematical method.The life evaluation model of the O-ring was established,which provided guidance for the evaluation of service life of O-ring in practical engineering.
