The basic reasons for disease of sites located in museums are continuous migration and evaporation of water.Diseases such as outward migration of soluble salt,surface pulverization and cracking are produced.The researchers have tried many methods to control them,but can’t change water’s one-way migration.So,it’s urgent to explore an effective,mild,nondestructive way to effectively control the diseases caused by severe water loss.In this study,a series of research work was carried out on the basis of the ’gas-liquid phase change replenishment’ principle and Kuahuqiao site,including investing diseases,analyzing the environmental data,doing gas-liquid phase change replenishment tests in the laboratory,building a condensation rate equation,carrying out soil water replenishment experiments.The effects of various conditions on the rate of water supply were explored,and the feasibility and effect of gas-liquid phase change water replenishment were verified.It provides basic methods and data for the large-scale experiment in the future.This paper provides a new way to solve the problem of soil site weathering,which is of great innovation and significance for the protection of earthen sites in the museum.The results show that the cause of soil erosion and pulverization is water loss.According to the principle,it is feasible to make use of air-liquid phase change mode to supply water to earthen sites by controlling the air humidity,temperature and soil surface temperature difference.The soil surface can be completely wetted in a short time.Based on the results of indoor experiments,water vapor condensation rate equation is obtained,which is based on the difference of air humidity,air temperature and soil water content.The field experiments show that the equipment can achieve the goal,which makes salt crystallization dissolve and infiltrate in 12 hours.The results of equation and experiment are basically the same.The equation can be used to predict the data of water supply for the Kuahuqiao site and similar sites.
