With the rapid development of society and economy,the population of urban residents and the number of motor vehicles have increased,and the consumption of urban transportation fuel consumed by vehicles as the main means of transportation has also increased.In order to save energy,it can not only improve the performance of the car itself,but also study the effects of signalized intersection timing schemes on the fuel consumption of vehicles.From the perspective of optimizing the signal timing plan for intersections,find ways to reduce the energy consumption of urban road transport systems.Therefore,this paper starts from the perspective of improving the signalized intersection timing plan.Firstly,it analyzes the obstructed process of motor vehicles at intersections and establishes a corresponding cumulative delay model.Based on this model,a total cumulative energy consumption model for signalized intersections within a certain range is constructed.Then,a signal timing optimization model is constructed with the goal of minimizing the minimum delay at the intersection and minimizing the cumulative energy consumption in a certain range.Finally,a comparatively optimized intersection signal timing method is proposed.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,it analyzes the related theories of urban road traffic energy consumption and delay.In order to better find effective measures to solve the energy consumption problem in China,it is necessary to grasp the influencing factors of the energy consumption of the entire road traffic system.Analyze the influencing factors of energy consumption of urban transportation system from the macro,meso and micro perspectives.The conversion indexes of different vehicles are specified,and all kinds of vehicles are converted into unified standard cars,which are convenient for model establishment and calculation of results,At the same time,the delay of signalized intersection is analyzed,which provides a theoretical basis for later research.Secondly,a cumulative energy consumption model of signalized intersection is constructed within a certain range.Firstly,the characteristics of the research object are determined,and the cumulative delay model of the intersection is constructed by analyzing the running process of the vehicle through the intersection.On the basis of the model,the uniform speed driving energy consumption model,idle waiting energy consumption model,deceleration incremental energy consumption model and accelerated incremental energy consumption model are constructed.Based on them,a cumulative energy consumption model for signalized intersections in a certain range is constructed.Again,a new signal timing optimization model is constructed and its design algorithm is solved.Firstly,the two commonly used signal timing methods,Webster method andequivalent traffic method are analyzed.Based on the total cumulative energy consumption model and total delay model of signal intersections within a certain range,a signal timing optimization model that considers both delay and cumulative energy consumption is constructed.Analyze the idea of genetic algorithm,and use genetic algorithm to solve the signal timing optimization model,and design each step corresponding to the algorithm solution.Finally,the analysis of an example.Taking the actual intersection of Huaibei City in Anhui Province as an example,the model is corrected based on the actual road conditions.Due to the difference between the actual road conditions and the originally selected research objectives,the model correction is needed first.Based on the traffic volume data from field surveys,the signal timing scheme obtained by the Webster method is calculated.The signal timing scheme obtained by the signal timing method proposed in this paper is solved by using genetic algorithm.Three kinds of signal timing schemes are obtained: the current signal timing scheme,the Webster method of signal timing,and the method designed in this paper.Then the VISSIM simulation software is used to calculate the intersection delay and cumulative energy consumption values corresponding to the three signal timing schemes.Then the delay and cumulative energy consumption values corresponding to the signalized intersections under the three signal timing schemes are compared and analyzed.It is thus verified that the signal timing scheme obtained by the signal timing method designed in this paper is superior to the other two signal timing schemes.The dissertation explores and studies a new signal timing method for signalized intersections.This method has good effects on reducing delays and energy consumption.It has guidance and reference for the design of signalized signalized timings at signalized intersections.
