Study On The Necessity Of Jitong Line Electrification

Inner Mongolia Jitong Railway limited liability company(Group),panned by the former Ministry of Railways and the people's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,which formally opened operating in December 1995.It has Operating story for more than 20 years,which development from the first line of railway to six lines,where include the line of Jitong,Xiduo,Xiwu,Xier,Bazhu,Duofeng.Operating mileage is also developed from the initial 943 km to the present 2666 km.In the road network to Jitong line link West trunk railway lines and Eastern mongolia,take freight as the main factor and take care of both buses,It is the most convenient interregional railway channel for communication between Northwest China and Northeast China.With the rapid dvelopment of the national economy,especially in the mining industry,agriculture industry of Inner Mongoliathe'stourismin,which set passenger line passenger and cargo traffic has increased rapidly.The recent bear freight of Jitong line is 2967×10t and bus is 14 pairs by forecast analysis.In addition the volume of freight transport is 2967×10t and bus is 21 pairs.According to the location of the Jitong line function and the level of future passenger and cargo transportation,there is a serious shortage of current Jitong line capacity,technical standards and higher operation cost disadvantages.In order to promote the economic construction along the region,speed up the Jitong Railway Modernization,meet future transportation's needs,further improve the Jitong line transportation capacity,increase train speed,and reduce operating costs and improve the working environment of workers.The necessity of Jitong line electrification construction are analyzed in this paper and the scheme of electrification construction is expounded.The main idea of electrification transformation is to take the Jitong line as a function of location based regional channels in network,according to the forecasted volume and capacity expansion plan of this line,combined with the vertical and horizontal conditions of the different sections of the line,the topography and geological conditions and the difficulties in operationmaintenance,comprehensive the needs of long-term transport's line and complete the electrification transformation project on the basis of reasonable technical and economic indexes.
