In the process of digitization and modernization,and constantly promote the construction of the power system automation,grid voltage level,then the system capacity has been significantly improved,but at the same time,the old electromagnetic current transformer can not satisfy the new requirements of power system,such as insulation and hard magnetic saturation,the power system upgrading dilemma suffered a bottleneck and can not break.Because of the electronic current transformer is small in size and can significantly against the external electromagnetic interference,feature rich and reliable enough to replace the old electromagnetic current transformer,so the electronic current transformer in the reform movement in the power system can be called a pivotal role.Monte Carlo method(Monte Carlo method),also known as random sampling or statistical test method,the development of the atomic bomb in the United States in 1940 s during the Second World War,the "Manhattan plan" project members S.M.and J.Ulam von Neumann first proposed,it is in the middle of 40 s in order to adapt to the development of atomic time the cause and development of the.The traditional method because of the physical process cannot approximate the real,it is difficult to obtain satisfactory results,and the Monte Carlo method can well simulate the actual physical process,because of the experimental process more,the data obtained is more accurate,so to solve the problem with the actual very consistent,can get more accurate results.Because of the difference in current sensing head,electronic current transformer can be divided into two categories: active electronic current transformer and passive electronic current transformer.In a passive electronic current transformer,the power supply does not transmit directly to the sensor.According to the Faraday magneto-optical effect,the polarizer has the polarization effect on the LED light,and the linear polarized light is obtained.The polarization rotation of the line in the 1 circle of the carrier conductor will appear,and the measurement of the rotation angle is carried out,and the indirect measurement of the current value of theconductor is realized.In the active electronic current transformer,the comprehensive performance of Rogowski is outstanding,which is the focus of attention in the field of theory and production.Rogowski is stable in operation,high in precision,simple in hardware structure and wide in popularity.In this paper,Monte Carlo simulation is used to make a detailed and objective comparison between Rogowski coil and magneto optic current transformer in terms of average service life,unit time reliability and failure probability.The results show that the Rogowski coil is very low on the average life span.From the use stage,the magneto-optical formula maintains a lower failure probability in the early stage,while the Rogowski coil maintains a lower efficiency in the later period.The operation of magneto optical mode is also affected by the choice of light source material.Under the same conditions,the semiconductor laser is obviously lower than the silicon solar cell in the evaluation of life and reliability.The results of mean life calculation are the same as those obtained by stress method and Monteiro simulation method.In addition,in the study of magneto optic current transformer on the basis of the stress analysis method to carry out a comparative analysis with the objective of stress analysis,let us have a more profound,more comprehensive understanding in the digital,modernization and automation of electric power system,grid voltage level and capacity of the system was improved significantly today,we must constantly improve the electronic current transformer's quality and reliability,the application of electronic current transformer in our life is more and more widely,are widely used in almost all places,so we must continue to carry out more in-depth study of electronic current transformer.
