A centrifuge is a mechanical device that uses centrifugal force to separate a heterogeneous mixture.It is widely used in chemical production,petroleum refining,medicine and health,cotton spinning and garment,food processing,metallurgy and mining industries.The decanter centrifugal centrifuge has been widely used in the petrochemical industry because of its strong performance and reliability.In this paper,the basic theoretical calculations of the LW1050-N decanter centrifuge were carried out,including the mechanical calculation of the spiral part and the calculation of the production capacity.The power of the LW1050-N decanter centrifuge under the influence of multiple factors is discussed;the power of the LW1050-N decanter centrifuge is applied to the screw of the LW1050-N decanter centrifuge under the two conditions of no-load and load.The Department conducts static analysis calculations and analyzes the stress and displacement of the drum and screw propeller in the actual production and operation of the centrifuge,and obtains the parts with large deformation,and optimizes the structure of these “danger” parts,and simultaneously department for modal analysis.The main content of this study:(1)Analyze and discuss the working principle of the LW1050-N decanter centrifuge;(2)Stress analysis of the spiral part of the LW1050-N decanter-settling machine is performed to verify its stress and deformation under normal working conditions;(3)Discuss the structural parameters(drum wall thickness and drum half cone angle)and operation parameters(drum rotation speed,liquid pool depth)of drum of LW1050-N decanter centrifuge on drum strength and stiffness Impact;(4)Perform modal analysis on the spiral part to determine its natural frequency and avoid the resonance of decanter centrifuge;(5)Under the condition of satisfying the safe operation of the drum,the optimization of the size parameters of the drum makes the drum the lightest,the largest factor of separation,and meet the economic indicators and process requirements of the equipment.After the above work,this paper has obtained the following research results:(1)The stiffness and strength of the helix are affected by the dimensional and variabl e parameters under different conditions,and the size parameters of the drum are op timized based on the analysis results.After analyzing the optimized model,the drum has light weight,low power consumption,and low cost.After optimizing the variable parameters,the production capacity is further improved.(2)The vibration characteristics of the auger and drum were obtained through modal analysis of the helix.
