Research On The Traditional Village Protection And Development Guided By Tourism

From the perspective of cultural heritage,traditional villages are a large-scale cultural landscape heritage and a combination of material cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage.However,due to the lack of adequate understanding of the value of traditional villages in the past,many villages with rich historical information and cultural landscapes were destroyed in the process of development and construction.Traditional rural culture is gradually engulfed by modern urban culture.In recent years,as the government and society have paid more and more attention to the history and culture of ethnic groups,the protection of traditional villages in China has yielded fruitful results.Many valuable traditional villages have been rescued but simply relying on "transfusion" protection is difficult to meet the actual needs.If traditional villages want to regain vitality,we must seek suitable and sustainable development paths.Fujian Guanyang Village is a typical agricultural and commercial traditional settlement in the West Hakka region.The village’s natural ecological environment is well maintained,and the rural landscape pattern is complete.It has exquisite Qing Dynasty residential buildings and rich historical and human resources,which constitute an important part of its cultural landscape heritage.This paper takes the overall settlement of Guanyang Village as an empirical research object,explores the protection and development methods of traditional villages under tourism guidance.On the basis of summarizing the theories and cases related to traditional village conservation and rural tourism,the author combined the field surveys and field visits to sort out the natural geography,historical evolution,and cultural landscape features of Guanyang Village,and then to make settlement and architectural features.Analyze the issue,sort out the status quo issue,and analyze its development potential in conjunction with the tourist market environment in the area where Guanyang Village is located.Then,according to the results of the above-mentioned work,the planning and design plan for the protection and development of Guanyang Village was proposed.The objectives,principles,and contents of the plan were mainly defined.At the same time,specific physical space elements were designed from six aspects.Finally,a brief summary of the traditional village protection and development strategies under tourism guidance is provided.It is hoped that the content of this study and the points raised can provide some practical methods and ideas for the current protection and development of Guanyang Village and contribute to the rejuvenation of villages.
