In the use of AVL-CRUISE business software performance is simulated for many models,found that when calculating the vehicle driving cycles fuel consumption,simulated calculated value and measured value is always there are of different sizes respectively.Based on vehicle driving cycles of numerical simulation,this paper studied the principle of software simulation analysis,puts forward and analyzes the engine working point path and working condition of engine parameters influence on simulation calculation.The method to reduce the calculation error is proposed by incorporating transient test data into vehicle simulation calculation.The transient characteristics of engine cycle are analyzed,and several optimization measures are proposed for the transient response performance of the original machine.The transient characteristics of engine cycle condition before and after optimization are compared and analyzed.The results show that the transient characteristics of the engine are improved obviously,the transient characteristics of the vehicle and the fuel consumption of the cycle are improved obviously.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)It is proposed and analyzed that the simulation calculation value is always less than the measured value when calculating the fuel consumption of the whole vehicle in the AVL-CRUISE commercial software.Based on the principle of software simulation,the main reason for the error of simulation calculation is analyzed in the working path of the engine and the variation of the parameters of the engine working condition.This paper proposes a method to reduce the calculation error by incorporating transient test data into the calculation.(2)The vehicle simulation model is built based on the basic parameters of the vehicle.Carry out the simulation calculation of vehicle performance and complete the model confidence certification.Based on engine universal characteristics of the data included in the steady state and transient characteristic data has characteristics of two kinds of methods for driving cycles fuel consumption calculation,compared the two methods of fuel consumption value and road the deviation of me asured values,the results show that the transient characteristics of the data into a steady universal characteristic method can reduce the simulation calculation of deviation.(3)Of the original machine the main parameters affecting the circulation condition transient characteristics and the causes are analyzed,and pointed out that the original machine in hot-power conversion,fuel oil supply stability,the condition of cyclic variations in idle speed and stability of the working process of the transie nt characteristics and the problems of the main reasons,and put forward the optimization of fuel oil supply system,air flow characteristics,distribution phase,combustion and ignition advance Angle and other measures to improve engine transient characteristics.(4)After the improvement of multiple parameters,the transient performance of the engine is obviously improved.The performance of the improved engine is compared and analyzed.The results show that the acceleration time of the vehicle is reduced by 1s after the improvement of the engine,the acceleration time of the improved vehicle is reduced by 0.9s,and the maximum speed of the whole vehicle is increased by 5.4(km /h),and the fuel consumption of 100 km per cycle reached 0.64 litres.
