The tower crane is the important mechanical equipment used in the construction of the project.It is currently widely used in the construction of projects such as civil construction,bridges,electric power,and large steel structures.The flat-top tower crane is considered to be the development direction of the tower crane in the future due to its convenient installation and disassembly,Strong work applicability,and high structural reliability.As an important part of the tower crane structure,the boom is mainly used for carrying hoisting loads.Under the impetus of the current industrialization of the building,prefabricated assembly construction requires the new requirements for the lifting capacity of the hoisting boom of the flat crane.In order to improve the lifting capacity of the boom,it is achieved mainly by changing the boom structure of the boom and increasing the cross section of the boom currently,but this approach will lead to an increase costs in the design and production of the flat tower crane.In recent years,the development of prestressed steel structures has been relatively rapid.Shandong Fuyou CoMpany has applied prestressing techniques to steel structures and has set up a series of tie rods at the top of a flat-head tower crane.In this way,the lifting capacity of the boom can be increased by Prestressing,By the way,the tower crane can not be needed to change the original metal structure Which can greatly reduce the costs of design and production.At the same time,under the condition that the lifting capacity of the boom does not need to be increased,the boom structure can be optimized by the prestressing technology to reduce the weight of the crane's structure and costs.Based on the study in prestressed tower cranes of Shandong Fuyou CoMpany,an adjustable balance weight is set on the balance arm.For adapting to different lifting weights,the prestressing force on the boom can be changed by the movement of the adjustable balance weight.In this paper,the FP6018 flat tower crane is modified to design a new type of prestressed self-adapting tower crane.The main research work is as follows:(1)Combining the application of prestress on steel structures,the application of adaptive technology on tower cranes,and other scholars' research on prestressed single-lift tower cranes,I determined the prestressed adaptive tower crane system,having solved the size of the adjustable balance weight and moving range of the weight;(2)The finite element model of the prestressed adaptive tower crane was established and its boom was analyzed by finite element.The results showed that the boom of the prestressed adaptive tower crane has a larger carrying capacity coMpared with the flat tower crane.The prestressing force on the boom can be adjusted according to the lifting weights.The prestressed adaptive towe has a greater advantage and better practical engineering application value coMpared with the prestressed tower crane.(3)Using ANSYS optimization module to optimize the boom structure of the prestressed adaptive tower crane,which reduces the weight of the boom structure and has certain reference value for saving the manufacturing cost of the boom.
