With the development of science and technology,the non-technology consumer goods industry has developed more maturely,and the technological level of most enterprises shows a homogenization trend.The product plagiarism in the market is very serious and the market is very competitive.In order to solve this problem,under the circumstance that technology is hard to break through,cost is undoubtedly one of the key factors that affect the development of the enterprise.Reducing costs can help enterprises to open the market and enhance their competitive advantages.At the same time,as the crisis of environmental resources becomes more and more serious,people’s consciousness of environmental protection is enhanced and their concept of consumption gradually changes.More and more attention has been paid to green concepts such as “low.carbon”,“environmental protection" and "sustainable development" Building a resource.saving and environment.friendly society’s development goals.In such a large environment,the low.cost design of this paper is based on the current predicament of the development of the consumer goods industry and the over.consumption of resources and environment.Stationery storage products as high consumables,high frequency of use and rejection rate,and the homogeneity of the product in the market is serious,this paper through the stationery storage products for low.cost design and research,promoting stationery storage products toward a more optimized and more environmentally friendly direction,Making rational use of resources,reducing the impact on the environment so as to promote the sustainable development of human society.In this paper,the concept of low cost design is deeply studied,and the architecture of low cost design is proposed on the basis of cost-oriented design architecture.Based on the analysis of the low cost theory and the characteristics of the children’s stationery collection products industry,this paper puts forward the low cost design strategy of stationery products.Based on low cost design strategy,aimed at the characteristics and design status of children’s stationery collectionproducts,it analysis and summarizes the plane to three-dimensional molding methods,features,application cases and forming characteristics,then the application status of the product in the design of storage products is analyzed and the cost advantage of plane to three-dimensional molding in the design and application of children’s stationery storage products is determined.And the concrete application in the low cost development of stationery storage products is done in detail.It puts forward the low cost development model of children’s stationery storage products and the application idea of planar three-dimensional molding.Based on the characteristics of the plane to three-dimensional molding process and the characteristics of children’s stationery storage products,related origami experiments and material performance comparison experiments were carried out for the stationery storage product development design,and seven kinds of plane to three-dimensional storage models are proposed.Finally three design schemes for children’s stationery storage products are obtained.In conclusion,this paper applies the plane to three-dimensional molding to the low-cost development of stationery storage products to be feasible,reducing the life cycle cost of stationery storage products,and bring some innovations to the functional structure of products as well as more interesting user experience.
