With the widespread use of distributed generation and the more complex distribution network structure,the traditional fault location method will not be able to meet the accuracy and reliability requirements of distribution network fault location with distributed generation.Therefore,an impedance method based on multi agent system and a set of complete fault location strategy is proposed in this paper,formed by combining the fault section location,and the reliability and stability of the method are verified by simulation.In this paper,the current distribution network fault location technology was firstly introduced with distributed power of the domestic and foreign research status,distributed power fault current characteristics,and analyzed from different positions of distributed generations to influence the actions of relay,fault point on the impact of distributed power supply upstream or downstream of the original fault section location method the error that the traditional positioning method.According to the positioning results of the big error problem,multi agent technology is introduced with the feasibility of distribution network with distributed generation in the discussion,a multi-agent system fault location practical criterion and by impedance method as the theoretical basis of the fault location equations are put forward,based on the theoretical derivation the simulation and verification,and a detailed description of the process of fault location.Finally,the 10.5kV medium voltage microgrid fault example is introduced,and the simulation model is established by using Matlab/Simulink software,and the simulation analysis of the fault location is carried out under the multi-agent system.The same system combined with the fault criterion and fault location of the fault location shown in the simulation results can be determined rapidly and accurately,forming a complete fault localization strategy,and the fault type and branch structure under different absolute error range of fault location results for 0.013,0.072],the relative error is in the range of [0.005%,0.017%],show that the fault location method has certain adaptability and accuracy.
