A Study On The Application Of Campus Culture Construction In The Interior Design In Higher Vocational Colleges

The higher vocational education in China can be traced back to the earliest period in the Qing Dynasty.After the development of more than 100 years it has changed a lot on the aspects of the size of the school,the number of students' enrollment,the updating of school facilities,and constant optimizing of the material conditions,and has developed with diversified subjects and diversified modes of cooperation.Now the higher vocational education in China is moving steadily towards the mode of being scientific and industrialized.Campus culture,as the direct embodiment of school brand and soft power in higher vocational colleges,has become an indispensable part of modernization in higher vocational colleges.At present the higher vocational colleges in China are saturated in infrastructure of materials,but lack the systematically theoretical research on campus culture,especially on how to construct campus culture to reflect the characteristics of occupational education in higher vocational colleges.The problems that campus culture tends to be too identical to show its occupational characteristics and that the connotation of campus culture can not be well applied in practical design always affect the healthy and stable development of campus culture in higher vocational colleges.In view of these current problems in the construction of campus culture in higher vocational colleges,it is urgent to systematically study the campus culture and its practical application in the development of higher vocational colleges.Accordingly,this paper,taking the application of interior design of campus culture construction in higher vocational colleges as a focus,firstly explores the origin of campus culture,and elaborately explains research purposes,research significance and research methods of the application of interior design of campus culture construction in higher vocational colleges in details.Then,this paper distinguishes the differences between campus culture in higher vocational colleges and that in colleges of other kinds,and summarizes the main characteristics and functions of campus culture in higher vocational colleges,based on which,the principles the higher vocational colleges should follow in the construction of campus culture with professional characteristics are summarized.And then,in view of the design of campus culture in indoor teaching space in higher vocational colleges,this paper analyzes its current situation and problems,and puts forward the idea that the core value,professional characteristics and cultural elements of campus culture should be embodied in the interior design of higher vocational colleges.Finally,this paper takes the project of professional culture construction in Wuhu Institute of Technology College as an example,illustrates how to apply theoretical knowledge of the campus culture construction into deigning interior space environment in teaching practice of higher vocational colleges from the practical perspective.
