With the problems of human living environment becoming more and more prominent,the use of the renewable energy power generation has become the direction of energy development over the years all over the world.The development and utilization of wind power and solar energy can effectively reduce the burning of fossil fuels.Wind power,photovoltaic power and hydropower are renewable and clean energy,and they are the main energy of power grid with good social benefits,economic benefits and environmental benefits in the future.Wind energy and solar energy are intermittent energy sources,which are hard to predict and depend on environment and weather conditions.It is difficult to meet the grid conditions for the safe and stable operation of the grid,which restricts the development of new energy generation.In recent years,wind power and photovoltaic power capacity continue to grow,however,the phenomenon of abandoning the wind and the light is serious.How to improve the energy structure of the power grid and realize the effective utilization of energy has become the hot spot of the current research.Hydropower has the advantages of low power generation cost,flexible regulation,and the complementary energy with wind power and photovoltaic power over time,providing capacity compensation for new energy sources.The complementary power generation pattern of wind power,solar power and hydropower can increase the development and utilization of new energy,which effectively reduces the adverse effects of new energy grid on grid security.It makes positive difference in using clean energy power generation to future power grid.The power generation mode needs corresponding automatic generation control strategy to match.In this paper,we studied the AGC(automatic generation control)system of the complementary power generation pattern of wind power,solar power and hydropower.We discussed the feasibility,AGC control strategy and software programming.The main work and results of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper presents the implementation of the complementary power generation pattern of wind power,solar power and hydropower.To solve the problem of the instability of the grid connected with the new energy,we use hydropower to compensate or appropriately limit the active power of new energy.This method can ensure the stability of the active power.This paper gives the mathematical model of AGC system combined with wind,light and water.Moreover,the mathematical model of AGC system connected with new energy is established,it is suitable for active power control of these three kinds of energy grid.The constraint conditions are added to the models,it is suitable for active power control with only new energy grid.(2)The active power assignment strategies of three kinds of energy sources,wind,light and water is discussed.This paper puts forward a weighted average method of power prediction,which provides an effective method for the active power control of the fan.An active power allocation strategy based on genetic algorithm is designed to find an excellent AGC unit combination and power allocation value.(3)An AGC system based on iP9000 development platform for the complementary power generation is designed,and its implementation is described in detail.
