With the rapid development of natural gas development and utilization, the urban natural gas transportation network is becoming more and more complex.Urban natural gas pipelines are often distributed in areas where population and buildings are concentrated, which makes urban natural gas one of the most frequent accidents and the most serious consequences of flammable and explosive gases.Mastering the law of natural gas leakage and diffusion can accurately predict, evaluate and control the leakage accidents,so as to reduce the occurrence of natural gas pipeline transportation accidents.Numerical simulation method based on computational fluid dynamics(CFD)has been accepted by researchers at home and abroad for its advantages of short period, low cost, strong performance and wide application. In recent years,it has made great progress and played a more and more important role in the research and design of major engineering fields.Based on gas leakage model and diffusion model,a physical model of gas leakage diffusion is established in this paper.Based on the three conservation laws and k-? model, the geometric model is established in CAD software by using numerical simulation method.the grid is divided by gambit software.combining the established physical model and numerical model, based on the unsteady leakage and diffusion model, and combined with the influence factors of gas leakage and diffusion in different cities, the three-dimensional dynamic leakage and diffusion of gas is simulated by using ANSYS fluent software and the corresponding conclusions are obtained. The numerical simulation results of natural gas leakage and diffusion in this paper are consistent with the leakage and diffusion theory, which verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis.the proposed research method provides an analysis idea for the study of natural gas leakage and diffusion.the obtained laws have certain guiding significance and reference value for the safe operation and maintenance of natural gas pipelines.
