As the growth of the global economy and greater integration of the domestic and international trade,port container throughput continues to increase,which puts forward higher requirements on port container handling efficiency.The quayside container crane is the main equipment for loading and unloading operations,and its operational capacity and speed directly determine the port's handling efficiency and throughput.And the quayside container crane driver is the main factor of the whole loading and unloading system.Therefore,the operation behavior and performance of the quayside container crane driver are analyzed in this paper,which is of great significance to improve the performance of loading and unloading operation,as well improve the port service level and enhance port competitiveness.On the basis of analyzing the operation flow and characteristics of the driver loading and unloading operation on the quayside container crane,andthen,the loading and unloading operation process was divided into four stages: operating lifting device,grasping container,operating lifting device and container,unloading container.Using the quayside container crane driving simulator,Ergo LAB man-machine environment synchronization platform,wireless sensor,visual test system and other equipments to collect the physiological signal and behavior video of the quayside container crane driver during operation.And the statistical methods were used to analyze the experimental data.The main conclusions are as follows.(1)During the four stages of loading and unloading operation,the quayside container crane driver was in a relatively tight state during grasping and unloading container.As the operation time increases,the fatigue degree gradually increases.Among them,the fatigue degree was deepened slowly with no obvious fatigue in the first 40 min,while deepened faster between 40 and 120 min.And the quayside container crane driver was obviously tired at about 80 min.With the continuous accumulation of fatigue,the quayside container crane driver entered a more fatigued state,with the fatigue deepening rate slowed down at above 120 min,as a result,the performance of the quayside container crane driver gradually decreased.(2)With the increase of eye movement speed,view area and perimeter were gradually decreased,while the roundness,boundary smoothness,symmetry,elongation and regularity were gradually reduced under the vertical view.But no matter how the eye movement changes,the horizontal symmetry was better than the vertical symmetry,that is the ability to process information in a horizontal direction is stronger.When the eyeball starts to turn,the visual search performance was significantly reduced,that is,the ability to obtain information through the visual system gradually decreases.When eye movement speed increased from 0°/s to 4°/s,the visual search time was significantly increased,while eye movement speed increased from 4°/s to 16°/s,the visual search time was no obvious change.When eye movement speed increased from 16°/s to 32°/s,the visual search time was significantly increased again.Finally,according to the experimental conclusions,this paper put forward the corresponding suggested countermeasures to improve the performance from the two aspects.The ports should trengthen relevant skills training,arrange the working time properly,establish KPI performance appraisal system,and introduce auxiliary operating system.As for quayside container crane driver,should also pay attention to skill learning and experience summary,and scientifically arrange the rest time.
