| According to the new urbanization policy put forward by our government,in order to accelerate the integration of urban and rural areas,realize the goal of equalization of urban and rural public services,this project puts forward that the construction of one-stop commercial center in small towns can lead the people of small towns and the surrounding rural villagers to inherit and develop the local cultural life,which is the carrier space of new communication activities in small towns.aiming at the elimination and stagnation of the public communication space in the current small towns in the social transition period and the lack of cultural space.It makes them become a platform for enriching the cultural activities of the people in small towns and promoting the cultural reconstruction of grass-roots communities.At the initial stage of this study,the new-type small town commercial center that emerged after 2006 in south Jiangsu was surveyed and investigated.Special attention is paid to the practice of a series of small town commercial complexes under the brand name of Zhonghong Xinnong Center in Suzhou and the practice of neighborhood center in Suzhou Industrial Park.At the same time,it makes an investigation on the one-stop community commercial center development in foreign suburbs which have key influence in shopping mall development trend in China.Finally,the design and development strategy of the one-stop commercial center in small towns is systematically sorted out,which covers the major aspects such as the business model,space-making,styles and characteristics,development and operation,etc.The design and development framework combines social,cultural and economic consideration.This study focus on the combination of theory and practice,which is in line with the New-Scientific-Development urbanization theory,in order to achieve the equal development between the urban and rural area.The improvement of public space in small towns is a critical strategy,which is not only related to the promotion of the public facilities and commercial services at the grass-roots level in the process of urbanization in China,but also relates to the grass-roots community cultural reconstruction and upgrading,and the realization of our cultural development goals.The exploration of this study is hoped to be helpful to the realization of the above strategic objectives. |
