In recent years,3D visualization technology has developed rapidly on the basis of graphic processing technology.This technique is mainly applicable to the field of massive spatiotemporal data.From daily life to industrial production,3D visualization technology has a good application.At present,some large companies in the world have integrated 3D visualization technology into their own actual production processes,but the application of this technology in the domestic hydropower industry is still at an initial stage.The realization of 3D visualization schemes for hydropower stations is numerous.If it is completely developed from the ground,it will take time and effort,which is not worth the candle.The use of professional software platforms will face high software costs and secondary development compatibility issues.Given Unity3D has both strong 3D rendering capabilities and rich functional components.In this paper,Unity3D is used as the software platform,taking the Bailian River Hydropower Station as an example,the development of 3D visualization system for the water-conditioning of the power station is completed,and a 3D display of the overall appearance of the hydropower station is realized.It solves the problem of poor performance and complicated data in traditional 2D graphics.Firstly,based on the virtual reality technology,the article focuses on the theory and method of constructing a three-dimensional visualization system for hydropower stations.Secondly,the paper takes Bailian River Hydropower Station as an example to analyze the system requirements.In addition,the feasibility of the system is analyzed from three aspects of economy,technology and operation,and the design framework of the system is given.Considering that the accuracy of DEM data does not meet the terrain creation requirements that the system relies on,after comparing several commonly used interpolation algorithms,this paper focus on the analysis of anti-distance weighting method and kriging method,in which have good interpolating effects,are mainly analyzed.Kriging interpolation based on differential evolution algorithm is studied.Using the DEM data optimized by this method,three-dimensional terrain based on real data is successfully created.Thirdly,the article expounds the process of the designing three-dimensional scene of the system,and gives the rendering optimization program that is the rejection technology and levels of detail technology for the fluency of the system.System functions include scene roaming,space measurement,information query,and flood simulation.Finally,the reliability of the system was verified by the overall effect test,function test and performance test.The 3D visualization system of this paper has the advantages of low development threshold,easy implementation,and short development cycle.The system is beneficial to improve the level of information management of hydropower stations,and also provides new ideas and solutions for other hydropower stations to implement three-dimensional visualization systems.
