With the transformation of urban power grids and the continuous development of smart grids,China has put forward higher requirements for power quality and reliability of power distribution networks.When a fault exist in the distribution network,it is required to locate the fault timely,fast,and reliable manner so as to quickly isolate the fault and restore power in the non-faulty area,reducing economic losses.It can be seen that the efficient and reliable fault location technology plays an extremely important role in the safe operation of distribution.In this paper,the ant colony algorithm is used into the fault location of the distribution network,the algorithm improvement and the fault location model are In-depth studied.For the shortcomings of the ant colony algorithm such as poor convergence and fall into local optimum during the initial optimization easily,this paper introduces the adaptive mechanism of the immune algorithm into the ant colony algorithm,proposes a hybrid ant colony algorithm applied to the distribution network fault location.First of all,aiming at the characteristics that the initial search of the ant colony algorithm is too slow,the advantage of the immune algorithm for rapid global optimization is used.The immune algorithm is mainly used as an alternative to the ant colony algorithm for initial search of the problem,and the ant colony algorithm is improved by using the affinity value thereof.The initial pheromone accelerates the optimization of the ant colony algorithm.Secondly,the adaptive mechanism of immune algorithm is used to improve the pheromone volatilization coefficient of ant colony algorithm,it is used to strengthen the adaptive ability of ant colony algorithm,improve the convergence of the algorithm and to jump out of the local optimal ability and avoid premature convergence of the algorithm.Finally,the immune operation of the immune algorithm replaces the perturbation strategy of the traditional ant colony algorithm to improve the accuracy of the algorithm and avoid the possibility of ignoring the optimal solution.The example of 0-1 knapsack problem shows that the hybrid ant colony algorithm is obviously superior to the traditional algorithm.In the mathematical model of fault location in distribution network,the application of ant colony algorithm and immune algorithm in fault location of distribution network is first introduced.The improvements to hybrid ant colony algorithm in 0-1 knapsack problem are introduced.Improvements have been made in the application of fault location in distribution networks.Secondly,in order to reduce the network dimension and improve the performance of the algorithm,the distribution network is used to divide the regional method.The radiation network and the active network divide the network into the trunk area and the branch area.For the ring network structure,the tie switch is used as the boundary to divide tfhe area and the failure occurs.When positioning,simply locate the fault in the fault area.Then,simulation results show that the proposed method can accurately locate single-point faults or multi-point faults in simple radiating networks and active distribution networks and accurately locate even in the presence of information distortion.The fault section has good fault tolerance.Finally,comparing the hybrid ant colony algorithm proposed in this paper with the traditional ant colony algorithm,the results show that the proposed algorithm is superior to the traditional ant colony algorithm in terms of convergence,accuracy,and computation speed.
