Abstract/Summary:
Distribution network is one of the key links of the power grid, which is of great significance to realize the economic, reliability of power grid and development of renewable energy. At present, there are a large number of distributed power in distribution network, in order to improve the security and reliability of the distribution network, the distributed generations are integrated into the power system in general. The traditional distribution network is changed from a single source radiation structure to multiple power supply structure, while the power flow is changed from one-way flow to two-way flow. The coordination between relay protection of distribution network become more complex, which may cause the serious situation of mis-operation and mal-operation, cannot guarantee the security of distribution grid. Distribution network fault location can quickly find fault section after feeder fault, which directly affects the accuracy and rapidity of fault isolation and non-fault area power supply recovery. So it is very important to research the fast fault location of distribution network and propose the corresponding fault location algorithm.In this paper, the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm, ant colony algorithm, distribution network fault location model and fault recovery model are researched in this paper. Fault location method in distribution network based on improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed in this paper. Hierarchical fault processing criterion screen is applied to search non-fault area, and then improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is applied to find fault location, which can improve the efficiency of fault location. Simulation results verify the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed fault location method. In order to recover the distribution network fault, this paper proposes an ant colony algorithm to solve the distribution network fault recovery model, in order to improve the global search capability of the ant colony algorithm, the immune principle is used to improve performance of the algorithm. The simulation results demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the ant colony algorithm are reliable and effective, which can effectively shorten the time of fault recovery and improve the reliability of power supply.
