In recent years,with the development of domestic architectural decoration industry and the growing concern of low carbon environmental awareness,the natural stone is used more and more widely in architectural decoration.So the request of the quality detection of in stone processing is higher for the enterprises.The color reconigition plays an important role in the quality detection of the stone.Through the color reconigition of the polished stone surface,it provides the foundation database for the follow-up polished stone processing and design.Currently,the color reconigition of the polished stone surface is mainly detected by artificial detection methods.However,artificial detection efficiency is low,the work intensity is large,the working condition is poor,the subjective judgment has a great influence on the result.Therefore,it is particularly important to realize the color reconigition of the polished stone surface..Aiming at the problem of color detection in the actual production of the stone enterprises,a new color reconigition system of the polished stone surface on the bases of machine vision detection technology and color image analysis technology was designed in this thesis.The main research contents of this thesis are as follows:(1)The design of hardware system.According to the design requirements,the hardware of the system was selected,including light source,CCD industrial camera,image acquisition card and so on.The color reconigition system of the polished stone surface was constructed according to the selected hardware.(2)The research of image processing technology.The polished stones image is collected by CCD industrial camera and transferred to the computer.By using the method of image processing complete the pretreatment of polished stone image,which provided a basis for the subsequent color reconigition.(3)The color reconigition of the polished stone surface.First,the polished stone images to be deceted without impurity pixels are obtained by gray threshold method.Secondly,the color characteristic values of polished stone images are extracted(image RGB Parade).Finally,the polished stone color is defined through matching color characteristic values of the extracted with the standard polished stone characteristic values.(4)The design of system software.The software control of color recognition of polished stone surface in VC++6.0 is realized in this thesis.The image processing algorithm and color reconigition algorithm can be finished by calling OpenCV machine vision library,and the online control of color reconigition system also be realized by programming control interface.Through the combination of hardware design and software programming control,the color reconigition of polished stone surface can be realized.The system will be applied to the stone processing production equipment,which can realize the automation level in stone quality detection.It can also solve the puzzle that the stone color can not be on-line detection.The system will provide a basic platform for subsequent stone decoration design.Meanwhile,it will raise the utilization rate of stone.reduce the artificial cost and management cost of the stone production.
