As the key component of the connection and transmission power in mechanical transmission equipment,the particularity of the working environment and the complexity of manufacturing structure determine the gears are prone to failure.In addition,the early failure signal features of the gears are weak and the actual signals are usually obscured by a large number of noise signals,that cause a great disturbance to the fault diagnosis of gear equipment.As an effective nondestructive testing method,acoustic emission detection has the characteristics such as spectral width,high frequency suppression,and can predict the early signal fault and has widely used in the fault diagnosis of various materials.Based on the in-depth study of acoustic emission detection technology,gear fault monitoring and fault feature extraction method,for the characteristics that the early gear failure signal is weak and modulation,put forward the method that related envelope demodulation the signal.This method can not only effectively eliminate the interference of random noise,it can also switching FM information in the gear failure signal to amplitude modulation information,through the envelope spectrum analysis of the relevant processing signals,can fully extract the characteristic frequency in the gear modulation signal.Secondly,for the false frequency that directly produced by the multi-component signals envelope demodulation and the limitations of the envelope demodulation of non-stationary signals based on Fourier transform,analysis the basic principle of the HHT transform,based on the adaptive advantage of multicomponent and non-stationary signal analysis,put forward the HHT gear fault diagnosis method based on related technologies,and simulation analysis the method,it is proves that HHT has the advantage in handling the multi-component non-stationary signal in the background of strong noise based on relevant technology.Finally,apply the above method to the gear fault diagnosis,separately detects the acoustic emission signals when the gear is normal or crack failure,and at the same time,measure the vibration signals as a comparison,the final analysis conclusion show that: time domain analysis,self-correlation analysis and the comprehensive application of HHT can effectively identify the characteristic frequency of gear failure and diagnosis of gear failure.
