Study On The "Grafting" Technique Of Old Town Buildings' Reconstruction From The Perspective Of Organic Renewal

With the rapid development of urban economy,and social transformation and other issues becoming more and more serious,many old towns and old buildings are facing decline.Nowadays,the development and protection of the old towns has become a hot topic.But it's focused on the ancient cities and famous historical and cultural cities.while the more common old towns already were in decline,because of the history and culture are not rich.Therefore,The author try to make scholars attention of old towns,and give some suggestions on old town reconstruction through the research and analysis and project practice,hopping to help the development and protection of the old towns.This paper consists of five chapter.The first is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic.The second chapter puts forward the concept of "organic renewal",which provides theoretical basis for the reconstruction of old town.Organic renewal is not a passive maintenance status,nor a disruptive overhaul,but it is a planned and guided sustainable organic development,based on the inherent law of the urban development of the city and the new replacement for the old.For the old urban renewal,we can't simply dismantle and rebuild,to make a whole new existence.Nor can it be restored to its original appearance,as it is to protect ancient buildings,without considering keeping up with The Times.Based on this theoretical background,the third chapter introduces the reconstruction technique of “grafting”,and its application principle and application strategy.The essence of "grafting" is a word "plus",it is to "add" a new element to another old element.this method can inherit the features of the old elements and add the good features of the new elements.Then a new symbiotic association was created through the collision of two heterogeneous elements.The content of "grafting" can be new building function,new industry type,new building form or new material and technology.After that,Chapter four continues to elaborate on the specific application of "grafting".First it introduces the application of "grafting",structure of "grafting" and part of "grafting" in detail,then,Then introduces the method and characteristics of "grafting",namely: mosaic,interspersion,expansion and replacement.The fifth chapter elaborates the actual project of the reconstruction of the old town as a case,from the history and culture to the present situation investigation,Finally,I useseveral cases to elaborates the application of "grafting" in the reconstruction of the old town of Wu Gang.The "grafting" technique enables new elements and old buildings to form a new urban state,by creating a new and old stack.It lets people feel the old things behind it while experiencing new things,and read the historical information derived from the city step by step.So not only the overall beauty of the old city is protected,but also the improvement of the living environment can be actively promoted to the new organic order.This paper looks at the concept of "organic renewal" dialectically,and it needs to adopt different reconstruction methods for different historic buildings.Based on this,the author make principles and strategies for the application of "grafting",and introduce the use of "grafting" in detail.In the end,the reconstruction of old buildings in Wu Gang is analyzed in detail as a case.It is hoped that this kind of old buildings in this kind of old towns can be used as a kind of bypass.
