With the dramatic development of economy,manufacture equipment of domestic industries evolves rapidly into modern automatic phase.During this period,the influence on production efficiency came from equipment actuate rate is gradually surpassing that came from labor skills.Equipment becomes the guarantee of production for each and every company,and the performance of equipment operation will directly affects product quality,so as to decides the economic efficiency of a company.Therefore,sophisticated maintenance and management of equipment can be competitiveness for a company.FAW Foundry Co.,Ltd.Second Foundry Plant has advanced equipment and technological level,and has huge market demands.However,restricted by plenty of problems on equipment maintenance and management,its productivity cannot reach full capacity,and sometime it almost fail to deliver products on time.Based on the research of FAW Foundry Co.,Ltd.Second Foundry Plant,this paper analyses the existing problems of the plant,finds out what rustles in those problems,and comes up with a series of improvement measures which including building proper organization structure,completing performance appraisal system,enhancing information system,as well as implementing many TPM activities including 5S management,self point check,etc.Last but not least,this paper assessed the implementation effect of improvement solution.The assessment result shows that after improvement,the movable rate of equipment grows remarkably which proves the effectiveness of the solution presented by this paper.This delightful outcome also reveals a sustainable improvement for our future work.
