| With the rapid development of economic in China,the freeway plays a more and more important role.Natheless,the subsequent traffic accidents can not be ignored.From the analysis of the accident distribution of various control methods,we can found that,the accident rate caused by marking is higher than that of other control methods.Foreign scholars related research shows that,the driver can correctly identify only about 50%of the signs.It is largely related to the layout of the logo design and setting unreasonable.The guide signs,whose font size is reasonable and location is appropriated,enable the driver to access to traffic information quickly and effectively,to make the right operational response and reduce the occurrence of accidents.However,there are still some deficiencies in the layout and location of expressway guide signs.Based on the above theory,this paper chose approximately 13 km section(K290+300-K303+200)on G4 expressway as the experimental road,and then simulation scenario model was established utilizing Corridor Modeling Tools such as Multigen-Creator,Terrain-Vista,etc.in the light of the road design files,simultaneously,virtual scene was driven by VSDesign simulation software.We mark three schemes according to the font size and layout.Finally,we invited 60 drivers to carry out the driving simulation test using the DSR-1000 TS driving simulator,and analyzing visual effects and psychological effects through effective visual distance and interest area data collected by eye tracker with the questionnaires analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of guide signs in the various scenarios.Draw the following conclusions:1)It would be better that the word height greater than 60.83cm and the important information placed in the top left of the layout design.The road whose traffic flow and occlusion probability all is large in the multi-lane expressway should be combined with the actual situation,add a sign in the central separation belt,or move the roadside sign to the central reservation.2)The scene A "visual effects" and "psychological effects" rating for "(general)III and IV(poor),the corresponding evaluation grade of the effectiveness is III validity.Scene O "visual effects" rating for better(II),and "psychological effects" in general(Ⅲ),although the effectiveness rating for general,but its effect is better than the scene A.The "visual effects" and "psychological effects" of the scene B and its effectiveness is superior to the former two.The evaluation results of the model are in agreement with the results of the experimental data analysis.The research results of this paper can provide reference basis for the reasonable design of the font size and orientation of expressway guide signs,and has some important value in theory and application. |
